One for UK students

The yearly 'Oxford Cup' is on Sept 20th this year and will be held in Nottingham at Dusk Til Dawn. The game is a £20 rebuy and the last couple of years there have been about 250 players so this is HUGE for the UK.

It is a student only tournament and you will need student ID to get in but other than that, it's open to anyone, not just Oxford Uni students.

If anyone wants further info, reply here and I'll tell you how to register in advance of the event to guarantee a seat.

I have no idea where to get fake student ID, even if I slipped on to a campus during freshers week they’d want to see some other student documentation before giving me id.

Will they take anything that looks student id’ish? I.e. a fake university library card?

i know its a late reply but its too easy to get hold of a fake NUS card, the trick is to get on it early in the year when they give them all away (before you have to apply for them) but there is always a surplus.

I'm at uni and have to sort my friends out with them when they come up to visit.

its not even a fake one, you just need a blank one and a passport sized photo. At my uni you can just go in a an ask for one, then you fill it out with all the relevant details (which only need to be correct when applying for other things in the SU) but if you want to use it for buses/bars/shops etc you can fill it with your actual name and the just make up the student number as there is no way to check if it's legit.

they didn't last year, this year ive only had to do a couple and they post you one at the beginning of the year so i already had a surplus, im in uni tomorrow so i'll see if i can pick one up. Why do you need it?
