Online Corruption?
Chatted for awhile with someone I met in an online poker room- she amde claims that the online poker rooms- not just paradise poker where I was playing, was overloaded with collusion, botters, and the like. Is this true? Is it safe to put my money down in paradise poker?

I wouldn't say so. I'm a pretty technical guy, and while colluding is possible, I don't think it's common. . . their is also a cheating/anti-cheating spiral just like a video game or a real life casino . . . so I don't worry about it too much. Bet your roll that they study the logs on big winners pretty carefully, just like they watch them like hawks in 'real' casinos. . . and, just like RL, just change tables if you decide two people are colluding. . .

No doubt people are doing everything they can to get an edge over other players! I was once offered to join a colliding team of 4 I quickly turned him and his friends over to partypoker.com staff. They actually rewarded me $30 =)
