PacificPoker.com UK Open
(For Interest of UK readers)
Having watched Celebrity Poker Club (which is particularly awful) and currently following the PacificPoker.com UK open which is currently on Challenge TV (Sky Digital Ch121) anyone else feel that the UK based progs just aren't as entertaining nor educational as the US ones (Eg, WSOP, WPT).
The lack of the percentage chance of winning information nor getting to see the cards of all the players just means that you don't really get the same enjoyment out of it.
The only real redeeming feature so far has been Alex Pagulayan (mini Phil Laak) and Amanda (the fuller figured Dealer - anyone else taken a shine to her or am I on my own there
- the top down camera views are AMAZING ?)

yeah, unfortunately, even though we Brits really got the ball properly rolling with televised poker (Late Night Poker) we don't seem to have moved on much from there. Hopefully when the European Poker Tour comes around, it'll have more of a WPT feel to it.
Hopefully with our very own version of Shauna

I'd love terrestrial TV to re-run Late Night Poker from Season 1 onwards. Even if it were in the wee small hours, it'd be great to see them all again. I emailed them about a DVD release and they said there are no plans
