Paulson Chips into Canada
Has anybody ordered Paulsons or any high end set into Canada from the States. If so what was the final cost to have them shipped / brokerage fees etc. I am considering ordering from the states as it appears it be much cheaper than to order from canada but do not know what the total fees work out be.
I am looking to order a 500 piece set of Paulson Top hat & Canes.
$500 usd plus 35 shipping from Us to Can.
$729 can free shipping to canada.
Please help me make my decision.

UPS brokerage fees are a rip off, but since you are in vancouver, you can call UPS once you have a tracking number and tell them you want to clear customs yourself.
You'll have to go out to Richmond and do this though.
I payed about $160CDN tax and brokerage on my custom set of clays:

I've been involved in orders from www.straightflush.ca
They are based in Alberta and sell Paulsons, Desert Sands, Nevada Jacks, etc. So you'd only have to pay the regular shipping and handling.
