I was browsing in barns and noble the other day and i saw phil gordon's new book (forgot the exact title). i noticed it for its odd shape, it really tall and pretty short. anyone pick it up and wanna tell me how is it?

i'm thinking he meant very tall and not very wide... much like one could describe the author.

no, i meant it was tall (height) and short (as in the # of pages).

It's not bad. Not hardcore, but a decent general poker primer.

It's a decent book, I picked it up last night and am reading thru it now. I like a lot of what he has to say...he covers quite a bit of info. is such few pages...

I picked up the book a week ago and read through it and I think its an excellent book. Not to technical with math and odds terms but gives a good explanation for odds calculations. I recommend it....and well it just looks cool.....being short and tall and all
