Player DQed from a WSOP Circuit event FT for being a dick
[i]The first event of the World Series of Poker Circuit series at Caesars Atlantic City attracted a whopping 1,056 players, and the final table was marked by a bit of weirdness when a player, who was the chip leader at the time, was disqualified in fifth place for “unsportsmanlike behavior.â€

You got to be kidding? The way he gets in players faces or runs around the tables like a dancing idiot. You don't find a problem with that?
They can disapline a player for saying a foul word but they should praise someone who disrupts the runnings of the tournament to act like an idiot?
It might be good for TV but it is bad for poker. It makes people think "If I show boat or act like a moron then I will get TV time." Get it for playing solid poker (IE Ferguson, Brunson...etc). Don't get it for stupid antics (Brenes, Helmuth, Matasow, Tony G....etc).
Look at American Football for instance. They make rules so you don't showboat or gloat after a good play. They should do the same for poker.

I like the Chark
FYP & QFT
Although I can see how Humberto can be very annoying to other players, I've never seen him genuinely cop an attitude to his opponents, whether he wins or loses the hand. It seems like he's just having a good time when playing.
However, both Phil H. & Tony G. constantly berate others' play, to the point that it's considered abuse. But I love to watch them both, since it makes for good TV.
Personally, I don't think I'd mind if I was at the same table as Humberto Brenes, I might actually have a good time watching a grown man behave like a 2nd grade kid with ADHD, threatening people with his toy chark.

Tony G is one of the worse winners there is.
However, as opposed to the poker brat he is an excellent loser.
You'd never see him lose his temper due to bad beat or bad play.
With Tony its really all part of an act.

I agree 100%, however, you'll never see Humberto tell someone he just busted out to 'go back to russia on your bike' or whatever the hell he said, 'you call yourself a pro, going all in with KQ?', etc.
Tony's only gracious when he loses because his trashtalk will no longer get heard. It's just like being a kid and talking trash about someone's mom, then when they finally kick your ass, you decide to shut the f*ck up and no longer talk shit.
Much different than "ohhh you're in the lead now, but the chark is gonna get you!"
But like I said, I find them all amusing to watch on TV.

Definitely, and he makes no apologies for it as it does put people on tilt:
