I think I might have made a mistake by not blocking the river. Bet/fold was a reasonable line I think, but check/fold seems yucky. Villain is definitely capable of pushing the raw [Ah] here, knowing I do not have the nuts.
Thoughts? Critique of line on all streets welcome.

Fold on the flop. You have very little equity and drawing to a non nut hand that can get you in a lot of problems.
I doubt most players on $25PLO are smart enough to realize they can rep the nut if they have the naked A.
Maybe he actually think he have a flush by the river?
The problem in those limit they play any flush as the nut, thats why you do want to play many weak hands with suited A.
You do have the 3 nut, and it will be good often. But we need to use our edge and get the money in when we are comfortable with our made hand or very strong draw.
Again fold the flop.
You can consider bet/folding turn (or were you hoping for the 9h)

My plan was to bet/fold the turn. Him calling really messed me up.
Agree on folding the flop line. Equity is pretty much shite.

Preflop: I prefer to just limp with these hands in EP because you can't really stand a rr and there has already been one limper. I know it is a very nice hand, but I don't really want to be playing it in a 3 bet pot which will usually be against AA, especially as I am only in for $33.
I think I may have actually bet this flop after raising PF. Obviously I am looking to represent three aces and if I get raised it's an easy fold and if I get called I will slow right down.
After you checked I would just fold on the flop for what people have said above.
For what it's worth, I think I would give up the river. At this level I can't see someone playing the naked A or bluffing with a set. I think people would usually just check behind with their low flushes as well. I mean, look at his from his point of view. What can you call on the river with that he has beat if he has a low flush?

One thing Jeff Hwang points out in his book is that rundown hands that have a gap at the top, like this hand, are weaker than ones with a gap at the bottom. The reason is because if you flop a strong wrap draw (like you're looking to do with this type of hand), most of your straight outs will NOT be to the nuts. Or, if you actually flop a straight, you usually won't have any redraws to a higher straight.
For this reason I think just a limp pre-flop would be better.
As played, definitely fold river.
