Poker in New York
Afternoon All,
Long shot this I know but what the hell - if you don't ask you don't get.
I'm off to New York City (staying in the Midtown area) on Saturday for a few nights and wondered if anyone on this forum who lived round about (or a tube ride away) there fancied letting a "limey berstard" join in their home game for one night for some trans-atlantic bonding. I'm there from Saturday through to Thursday afternoon.
Looking for a home game/tournament with buy in of up to $50 perhaps. Preferably with a decent amount of chips and a decent blind structure (none of these crazy ones where the blinds go up every 10 minutes or so - preferably 45 min or so levels). Preferably also a group of (semi) serious players and not a gang of keg swillin'/pot-smoking oiks :D
Send me an email on pm_french@yahoo.co.uk if you're OK within a guest joining in the game.
