Pokerchips.com order arrived! (Pics)
After almost 3 months, they're here! My girlfriend, bless her generous heart, ordered these for me for my birthday. We designed the colors and logos together. For those of you contemplating an order, here are some comments.
First of all, they are GREAT chips. They feel excellent and have a very authentic casino weight to them. The sound perfect. These, to me, are the highest quality chips I've held.
They do, however, feel like they might be a bit fragile. I would not be comfortable tossing them against a wall or even dropping them onto concrete, but I couldn't break one by hand.
That sort of dusty look people have mentioned is only temporary. In the pictures below you can see three stacks of the blacks; the tall stacks have not been handled and look dusty, but the short stack has been handled and you can see how the colors changed. Just handling them brings the colors out.
They all have the sparkle from the metal shavings. To me this looks damned cool and unique. I like it.
The labeling also looks good and sharp, though there are quite a few (maybe 10%) chips that are printed off center in one way or another. Either the entire center area is off, or the logo is off in the white area. Nothing to cry about.
They included around 5 extras per color. This is good because one of the blacks was defective--looked like someone dropped a small piece of paper onto it before it was stamped.
Anyhow, it's a great set and I recommend these chips to anyone. The printout is the proof Pokerchips.com sent us.

Very nice Dre0000. Thanks for posting the pics. I know its already been said, but ....damn! that's a sweet logo. Good job.
As far as breaking chips w/ bare hands...Who the F sits at a table and tries to break the damn chips???? Sit at my table and try to break my chips, and I'll break your freakin' head. Those chips will hold up as good as any. Don't sweat it. 8)

None of the other quality chips has this problem. Lesson: get samples before buying any expensive chips.
