I see nothing bad about using pokertracker, it just makes statistics, which we could do ourselves as well, just with much more effort.
Anyway, until now I somehow didn't notice I would play better using it. In some cases it might be even confusing. Or, I just didn't learn enough to use the informations the best way. And, when I play 10 tables, it freezes a little bit and I mostly don't wait till the numbers apear before I make a move.

Since it is available for a modest fee to anyone who wants to use it, it is, at worst, a leveler.
It does allow people who multi-table to do so at higher level of play than would be possible without it. At least at lower limits, due to the huge fields, it seems to be of limited value other than analyzing your own play. I think it can even be misleading in tournaments due to the changing blinds and shrinking M's.

Like I said, funny trolls atleast are smart enough to make a joke. Or an interesting OP. This thread is basically one giant rickroll for mongs.

I don't have as much of a problem with PT I've realized as I do with HUD's, because those allow you to gain an edge while multi-tabling where you wouldn't otherwise. PT itself doesn't really let you get up to the minute stuff unless you pair it with a HUD, and PT has a lot of other features that are completely non-controversial.
I maintain my stance, however, that players should be able to opt out of being tracked automatically by these types of programs, and that sites should worry about this.
I also maintain that PT and HUDs have given the serious, better players such an advantage over the casual, fishy players that online Poker has undergone such a transformation when combined with various other factors, like increased multi-tabling, the Neteller and Party pull-out, the UIGEA, etc. I don't necessarily think the better players need the added advantage of PT, which almost no fish use (especially not well), but I'm not going to call it out and out cheating.
So quote me on it. No, PT is not cheating. Even HUDs are not cheating. I simply don't think they are good for the game, in the same sense that I believe Poker rooms' policy of running almost 100% small stakes NL Hold'em is not good for the game.

There probably aren't many things that can make you as good a pokerplayer as learning to use pokertracker or a related tool.
Statistics is always the superior decisions platform when the outcomes are unknown and you have only limited information available, and any player who can go into the same mindset live will most likely do tons better than someone relying on tells, hunches and his/her own bias.
