Post Number One Thousand
I know, this falls far short of the post count some of you have racked up but it is a nice round number and a bit of a milestone for me. I had to check to see that I joined the forum in January of 2005 so I've been with you guys for 6 1/2 years. That's almost enough to be an old timer (aside from being just old). As I look at the cadre of currently active members I think that I rank among the real geezers at least in terms of membership longevity. Unfortunately this is not so much due to my own membership length and activity but to the loss along the way of many other old timers.
I want to tell everyone how much I have enjoyed being part of this community. It is a tight little group and everyone's personalities come across in their accumulated posts. When activity on this forum started to drop off I did join the 2+2 forums but that site is so massive and the postings so overwhelming that I just don't have the sense of community there that this site has for me.
Good luck to all of you in poker and in life. (I'm not going anywhere, I just wanted to take this opportunity to express this wish.)

2P2 and P5s are rather overwhelming. This place could do with some more traffic but it's not bad as it is. Here's to 1,000 more.

Congrats.
You may not have as many posts as some of the "old-timers", but all of your posts are well-thought, grammatically correct and thorough. I hope to see 1,000 more.

Uh, oh. You're on to my secret. I've discovered that correct grammar gives a distinct edge in tournament play and so have been working on it.

You are right because there are only limited (and sometimes no) FL games at my local card room. I just wish I could ease into NL at lower stakes.
