Neteller account set up

Postby ForumJP » Sat Apr 17, 2004 9:58 pm GMT

i am ready for my real money account in UB now...but i need to get a neteller account first...can someone just briefly explain what i need to watch out for with neteller ?
also, i live in canada...so what currency should i make my neteller account ? i am assuming Ultimate Bet uses american ? so would i need to deposite into neteller more often or withdraw from neteller more often?
thanks a lot!!

belive it or not... i've found neteller to be quite a trustworthy and solid service provider.

i'm quite a paranoid individual when it comes to those sorts of things and neteller was the bomb.

like 1 minute after my first transaction i got a call from them to verify it was me... now that's the kind of security i like!

i wouldn't worry about it too much. just follow all the instructions they provide and you should be good to go in no time.

to be honest... i don't quite remember. LOL. it wouldn't matter much either way... i've created a checking account specificly for online transactions such as that and therefore have it set so that i can't get screwed.

i only put money in it when i want to move it from one place to another... and i've removed any type of overdraft protection so that if there is no money in there and someone tries to get some... they get rejected instead of my banking pulling money for them from another one of my accounts.

it works out rather well. using this method along with good CC's... i feel i'm pretty secure online.

i wouldn't use a debit card unless it was associated only with a checking account, like mine, that is specifically for online transactions and doesn't have any more $$ in it than the amount you want to transfer over.

otherwise use a CC.

i c, because i think i am probably going to do what u did..open a bank account and deposite like...100-200 bucks in there and use it specially for neteller transactions~ so i have to associate the debit card to a new checking account ?

well... when you start the new account... i'm guessing when you open the new act, they'll ask if you want the debit card or not.

be careful though... like 90% of cards don't allow those types of transactions. it's considered something like a gambling cash advance type of thing and it gets rejected.

when i opened my account... i just said i didn't want a debit or any checks and i just linked the thing to neteller.
