I personally don't care for the site. Not something I can really put my finger on; just small stuff like creepy images, some small features.

For example, when I sat down, I hit the 'wait for big blind' option. I didn't realize I also had to hit the "sit in" button. Seems to me telling you to wait for the blind should be indiciation enough of when I want to join the game. Then, when the blind passed and I missed it, there wasn't an option to say, "ok, join now".

On the other hand, I threw $18 in (it's what I had laying around in firepay) to qualify for Saturday. Played one hour of $.25/$50 and ran it up to $29 and change, without really trying.

Strange action, I mostly avoided the bad beats, but stuff like seventh position cold-calling a raise from second position (me, AA) with 76off, people calling right to the river with two pair when there's both a flush draw and a pair on the board.

If that hour is an indication of the level of play, it should be good fishing. Can you guys do me a favor and play like that Saturday?

I kinda like their software.
The only complaint I have is the graphics of the people sitting at the tables. Namely the guy in the top left looks like a total degenerate gambler. If you could see his eyes they'd be bloodshot and teary. Oh and the old lady in the top shouldn't have her purse on the table.

Yeah, I just tried it for the first time this morning. The graphics are very dark and creepy. I like the sites that allow you to choose your own image but there is a lot to be said for the simplicity of party too. There I pay more attention to the cards than I do to the graphics.

Well, I'm in after about 4 hours of trying to get a freaking deposit to go through. I wish they had that e-check thing like Party.

I'm a big fan of echecks too....

neteller hates me (always gives errors when i try to signup)....and I'll never use click2pay cuz they require your social security number for authentification, which you should never do...and firepay requires the same email addy as pokerroom, which i couldn't use cuz i have 2 accounts at pokerroom apparently, one of which is wrong, so i couldn't use that w/o contacting customer support, so i ended up going w/ epassaporte, which was also a pain cuz they charge $5 and you have to call them to verify...

echecks tho....punch in the number and its all good

That's what I ended up using. (Well, it was "InstaCash" or whatever you call it that uses your Neteller account)

As far as I can tell, there is no fee when you go through pokerroom's site to deposite using Neteller, but when you withdraw do they charge you?

I'm looking forward to this.
The last THP tourney I played in was a $30 buy in at Poker Stars.
I quickly realized what I was up against when I was seeing ungodly re-raises ... stuff you just don't see a lot in $5/10 tourneys.
I think I finished like 20/30 in that damn thing.
Here's hoping for a better finish this time.

Just trying out the site now, to get the feel of it. Its OK, but I'm in a stupid pot limit game also hehehe. The lobby is kinda slow. I like the htlm stats. ....Bottom line... I'm winning the freerole ;)

I can't get home until about 10 minutes after this starts. If I can just be blinded down for a round, I'll enter.

Yeah, well, just log in before you leave, and when the tournament starts, you will be sit automaticly and your blinds will be posted. When you get home, just sit and start playing.

By the way ... I just left my place for a few hours and the site logged me out due tu inactivity

Another hour, another 11 BB. I think I could get to like pokerroom.

(Caveat: playing $.25/$.50 hold-em, so 11 BB is only 5.50. But it's where the fishes live.)
