a similar one is when you hold like an Ace with a low kicker and the board comes like ATT then on turn or river your kicker pairs but is of course worthless...
well don't laugh but it already happened to me to think "hey I got 2 pairs now" :p
I dont make the same mistake now of course (and fortunately) but I'm pretty sure many people do it :)

Funny hand relating loosely in a inverse kinda way to above example.
I have pocket 2's, one dude (very tight, plays very few hands) raises 2x I call, all others fold.
Flop: 10 10 5, He bet's very small...Hmmm?, a cheap turn card...I call
turn 5...CRAP!...but he checks...No problem a cheaper river...check
River Q.....he checks....I bet 8x BB...Thinking I can scare this guy off making him think I out kick him.
He thinks...thinks....Folds and shows KA...I laugh to myself and show my 22 and type in "Bluffed ya" so others don't think I'm a moron. This was online so I could not see his face and he did not comment, but the other players did rag on him. LOL
He left shortly after that.
It was very risky doing that I know, but I though if it worked it would be funny as hell to show my cards...it was. That and now the table would think I like to cold bluff, which I don't do often unless I feel it will work. I could try to use that image on later hands though. This was low stakes as well. so I didn't really risk alot either.
