Question about warped KEMs

Postby Anodyne » Mon Jul 24, 2006 5:34 am GMT

Hey all, found this forum and really like the place. Already learned a lot reading through everything.

Anyhow, I have a set of KEM cards that were left in my wife's car and the heat slightly warped them. After several days back in the air conditioned house, they've mostly returned back to normal shape but still have a slight bend in a few.

Is there any way to fix this? Or is this just one of the downsides to KEMs?

Are any of the other premium plastic cards (Copag, Gemaco, etc.) LESS prone to this warping?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Kems unfortunately are prone to warping. I've had mine for about three years or so and both decks have a bow in them. I think any plastic cards will probably bow if you leave them in a hot car though. I've heard that Copags and Dal Negros seem to be less prone to the warping issues.
