This is very good news for me, as Stars has always been my favorite site. However, I am sad that I won't be able to qualify for the WSOP online anymore. That was going to be my first choice of doing so, as I'm pretty set on trying to play it next year.

My guess is you will probably be able to qaulify for the european events in dublin and such.

So as I read the above, even that the pres. signed the bill, PS isnt preventing US players from playing there correct? Just wondering what will happen if a US player ends up winning something like the sunday million tourny how would a US resident get his/her money?

Playing online Poker is not illegal nor did this bill make it such. If, say, as US player won the Sunday Million, he could legally withdraw the money to Neteller and then legally deposit it in a US bank account (as far as the bill covers).

All this bill did was prevent banks and credit card companies from doing business with online gambling sites. So far, Neteller has not been blacklisted, and it is not illegal (Federally) to play Poker online.
