Im not sure if you have a target in your area or not, but give them a shot... someone was talking of a 240 chip set that came with a carousel for $35-$40 american.
Also, check TJ Max... sorry, i've only been to canada a few times and i wasnt there to shop at target or TJ's. :D
On a side note though, you could check out some billiard suppliers, sometimes they sell poker tables as well as billiard tables and may also have some poker supplies.

I was a little leary of buying online, too, but I've never had a problem. You can scroll through this site and read about a lot of different experiences that some of the guys have had--they are almost all positive. You can probably find a gambling supply store in a city as large as Toronto--but my experience is that you will pay top dollar at a place like that.

yep, i'll second mindgame on this one. I stepped into a game room supply store here in ohio... and their prices were rediculous! There was no way i was going to pay .35 for a cheap diamond chip, or $15 for a cheap dealer button.

Sorry, forgot the link.

I had bid/bought a set of the 11.5 gram Dice style, and am VERY pleased. Won the auction on a Sunday, received the chips on the Tuesday. (although I bid more
