help with pot odds PF
Hi ,
Am still wrapping my head around pot odds concept and calling when you're pretty sure your behind.
For example, just played in a 90 person S&G .
When the blinds and ante are big, what cards do I need to complete from the SB. or to call a min raise from the BB.
Let say the blinds are 400/800 and the ante 100. full table and 2 limpers.
I need to call 400 to get 3700. better then 1-9 . should I complete with any suited cards? any connectors? any 2 cards?
what about same situation, I'm in the BB. MP min raise one caller SB complete. now I need to put 800 into 5700. only 1-7
How do I decided which hands are good enough to call / complete in these situation?
Thanks.
Any recommendation about books that explain this concept?

A large part depends on how the BB plays. If the BB tends to check when you complete the BB, ill play with any two cards as long as im not short stacked.
As far as calling a minimun raise from the BB, i usually call with any connectors, suited A and K, and any PP, and reraise with TT or better.
It really depends on your play style and how well you can outplay your opponents after the flop.
