it's blue... and it's spectacular....

In the UK scooters are the first vehicle a kid can buy (16 years old) so they have a reputation for being ridden very badly by idiot chavs.
They’re also capped at 30mph.
yeah the little 49cc ones give scooters a really bad rep...

And I assure you those gangs are very, very real in Canada, UaU
The scooter gangs or the big boy bike gangs? I am sure most every country has Bike Gangs. Although there are no scooter gangs to my knowledge in the US. There could be one in San Fransisco. Seems like the most logical place for gayness to be...
Most of the bikers that belong to gangs that I know personally are some of the nicest people around. Just don't piss them off.
Hey Ensano...ever hear of Sturgus? Why don't you ride the Scooter on down from Canada to South Dakota and attend it this year?

UAU: Do you realize you just called Tame gay, and added the adjective "hella" in front of it, thereby proclaiming your own "hella" gayness?
Universally speaking,
I, win in the long run.
I, win in the long run.

Yeah, it is kinda gay. Scooters are cool in the same sense that makeup for men is cool. Iow. its not my kind of cool, but I understand it.
As far as motorcycles or scooters go, everybody knows real rides got four wheels.
This puppy will never be uncool anywhere:

When that thing hits 88 miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious shit.

Phil: Yes I called Tamed gay and used Hella as well. But saying I am hella gay for doing it makes you just hella lame...
Tamed: I take back the gayness remark...I forgot your roomies...
. As far as the car goes...no way on Earth can anyone call that gay or lame. Ensano you should probably trade in your scooter for one...you might get girls to look at you...
without laughing...

I can see the appeal. Been running the truck for the past 2 weeks, and now I'm moving with it. It's 50 bucks every time I fill the tank right now, and today was the sixth time in those 2 weeks...
There are a lot of kids (and some older) running them around the burgh here. College/school boys, you just let it go. You'll never catch me on one though. 6'3", in my 30s... it just wouldnt be or even look right. lol.
UAU, they did away with the helmet laws here in PA a few years ago too (remember roethlisberger?). I laughed my tail off the other day though: guy went by on a scooter, cruising along at maybe 15 mph wearing a shoei full face helmet. Was quite a sight.
As to posture on impact... I don't care what you're riding or how you sit on it: you take a bike into another vehicle or barrier... chance are that you're eating it (once again, roethlisberger a great example). Not getting into a hog vs rice debate. Different strokes for different folks. Like hogs: ride hogs. Like rockets: ride rockets.
I just brought those up because I had never seen one and thought they were great. Instant drool. Found a company that custom makes the swingarms with a nos bottle build into it. I'll have one sooner or later, but it won't be this year (I have another toy that I'm to be picking up this year). Maybe next summers toy. I can tell you now though: first time I stand it up with those extra 10 inches... I'll crap myself. lol
Ensano, don't let em get to you.
If it's the toy you wanted, be proud you got it.
Word of advice however: don't even think about trying to get that thing up to 100. The wheels just aren't big enough, and an unexpected pot hole will cost you a lot of skin. Screw looking cool (well, it's a scooter. Cool isn't a factor here
jk), wear a helmet. I've bounced my head off road before... just trust me. If you're going anywhere where you'll be moving over 20 mph or so, please wear a helemt. lol

i def plan on wearing a helmet.. now way would I dare get up to 100mpr on a scooter... but I do intent on using it for highway speeds... 90kmph so i did make sure to buy a full face helmet... might be a bit overkill but with all the teasing i may end up enduring at least the people who see me on the road won't know who i am...

Doesnt look bad at all. If I were to ride one, something like that wouldn't be too bad. Either you're really small, or that things a lot bigger than most of the scooter I see running around.
Kinda looks like a scooter mated with a goldwing and that thing popped out

I stand at about 5' 10'' or 175cm... so yeah it's a lot bigger then you'd expect it to be (the scooter).... kinda like a scooter cross-over...

Vyn...you should get you one of those scooters..when you do just hand your testicles over...you wont need them..no man who rides a scooter needs them...
.
Go ahead and put a NOS system on one of these little things...see you wrapped around a tree not more then 100 ft down the road. You got to have some tire to keep control at higher speeds. One slight turn on the steering wheel and that thing is going out of control at higher speeds.
Exit: Yes get one of these things and make a scooter club with Ensano...you can call yourselves...Scooter Sluts...
...then you two can ride down to Sturgis together and show the women there some real bike riders...
On the plus side I can understand the gas savings here. Fill up costs me $40 in the van so I can imagine the savings here. A tank a week wouldn't cost you over $10. Might be a wise investment...but I personally would grab a rice rocket before I grab a scooter...
