Price of petro over in your neck of the woods is what...about $4.00 ish US? You should get a VW deisel. The old ones you could go about 700 miles to a tank. Just don't get a scooter Muck...not you...stay with us in the man club... :lol:

I used to have a deisel VW Golf, it was the most beautiful car ever, until it reached it's death bed, then I sold it to some sucka.

just filled up today... cost me 11$CAD (9.50$USD).... drove 230km (144miles) since last fillup...

top speed is 100mphr... I haven't driven it that fast but I can hit hwy speed without effort... it's even got enough power at 60mphr to make a smooth pass...

Ensano, i think its pretty sweet. Just because it doesnt get <10 miles to the gallon doesnt mean its not cool :)

MPG has little to do with it. For example, this gets much better mileage and is at least 173x cooler.

I've got a company car at the moment, my car is Peugeot 306 1.9TD.

Diesels aren't much cheaper to run than petrols though, unless you run them on vegtable oil...annnnnnnyway.
