low pocket pair, pre-flop raise
what do you do in this situation? seems every time i call, i flop jack, and when i fold, i would have flopped a set.

Thats solid advice... assuming you're playing no limit. If you're playing limit, small pairs are better with more players so you can get value if you flop your set.

o.k., so let me make sure i have this right. suppose I get 66, and there's a raise.
In N/L I should either fold or go all in in hopes of driving everyone, or almost everyone, out of the pot.
In limit I should call if there are a bunch of others in the pot, but fold if there are only a few.
