Yeah. Just caught the first part of the first episode on pokertube .
Where The mouth decided to be trappy with a big hand and Hellmuth decides to play 27o like its A's.... ouch.

Helmuth (and others) played 72o like AA because the whole table made a deal where if anyone won a hand with 72o, everyone at the table would give him $500. Wait 'til you see the hand where someone is representing a big hand with 72o against flopped quads

Hi, I edited mine down not to ruin the results for anyone who didn't catch it.

And yes, by now I did see the flopped quads. Pretty sick.

The "roid rage" comment was priceless.

That was one of the most entertaining episodes I remember. I was laughing so much and that 72 bet really made things interesting.

Mike had a point (although even then that's a nasty lay down) that Hellmuth doesn't make big bluffs on the river. I felt bad for him because Hellmuth really did play it like he's played so many monsters. Of course I don't see hands outside of TV so some of that is whatever, but Mike does.

The 72 thing is entertaining but Gabe made a good point when Antonio from Florida was over $117K in the hole - he's losing $117K to try and make $3.5K.

Obviously it's more of a pissing contest for bragging rights but at the same time, it shows how dumb the rule can be if you play like a retard.

I remember in a previous season when they did the same, Mike won a hand with 72 and show it to collect his fee. But when the Magician pulled a bluff with it, he didn't show. Now that's why I like that guy.

After watching HSP 4x01 (and obviously all the other seasons in full), it reminded me that Phil Laak is my favourite TV player to watch. The guy just makes me laugh constantly with his quirky ways and with how much he loves what he is doing.

Yeah, I like the dude a lot.
For a while in one of the earlier episodes I thought he was a real genius , but that didn't came out again since (He left the table with +$200k that day)

2+2 doesn't like him because he's a "nit." And apparently all the "cool" kids aren't nits.

Too bad for them that ABC Poker has crushed every season of HSP so far. Some of those guys bring their egos way too far into the game, or at least that's how it appears on TV.

Have to say that I'm really not that impress with 2+2 any more.

The levels in the micro forum is really not that high and replies are rarely intelligent enough. Beside, the atmosphere there is really annoying.

There is a good reason why I visit here 20 times a day.

that's because they didn't want .5/1 people talking in the mid-limit forums. it makes a bunch of sense, actually.
