card shuffler

Postby avpoh8 » Tue Jun 15, 2004 11:03 am GMT

Have any of you used a card shuffler in your games? We use two decks in our games and were wondering if it would speed up the game if we had an card shuffling machine.

I have played on tables w/ them at casinos-lovem for poker.

I HATE the perpetual shuffling machines that they are using in Vegas. 2, 6 decks in play in an auto shuffler isnt too bad. 2 deck hand shuffled are the best.

we don't have two decks in play at once. While the dealer deals somone shuffles the extra deck. It keeps the game moving better. I was wondering if anyone had used one of the battery operated shuffle machines and if so how well do they work?

We tried that once, only for one hand. That was pretty insane. We played 5 card draw with wild cards. I got dealt a 5 of a kind... Yep, first 4 cards were all 8s, and the fifth card was a wild card. They didn't want to play with two decks anymore after that...

yeh I use 2 decks for play with my games all the time. Just makes the game go alot faster and you don't have to wait until the person is done shuffling.

I thought abou getting a automatic shuffler to make it go even quicker, but the shufflers I seen you have to put it in once, and then it shuffles. then you have to take out the deck and put it in again and press the shuffle button.

It's faster to just stick with the 2 deck system while play to make it go faster and just shufffle regularly.

Just get some KEM cards at least
