I'm writing a project on hold'em poker...
what should i include in my paper? i took notes on some one-on-one games and i thought i might include them. i will also include strategies and fun facts, a little history and probably a little something about cheating and odds. the paper is supposed to be 15-20 pages long and i don't know if i can fill that, i'll include some pictures too
is there anything else i should include? any other tips?
thanks in advance...

Consider the audience. Who is it for? A professor? IS it for a class? If so that should influence the tone of your paper. Not enough info to give you any advice as to what it ought to include.

It's a good topic to pick, I reckon I could write a 10,000 page article on just Holdem and still not cover everything.
Your best bet like ur planning is to structure it in sections. Make sure it doesn't get too technical or the uninformed reader will no doubt lose interest. A nice idea might be to use all the crazy poker phrases (eg gutshot, pocket rockets, boat etc) and then provide a glossary at the back. It's always fun to read things packed with poker terms I find but then I'm biased and ur professor might just not care!
Post a *short* excerpt here if u like (if it's being word-processed) and I'm sure we can all give u feedback

Something that may help... you may want to consider reading Amarillo Slim's new book "In a world full of fat people". I picked it up some time ago and it is excellent. It's not all about poker, but there's more to poker than just poker. Poker is about the human mind and gambling and tells and tendencies and blah blah blah.
The book is exceptionally well written and very insightful as to a gambler's ego and the life that a professional gambler lives. The sections on poker and it's history and the way it has gone from a backroom game for cigar smoking low lifes to a game that millions of people world wide play every day is truly fascinating.

thank for your tips guys, keep 'em coming.
anyway, the glossary idea is great, i was thinking that too, but i think i'll put it somewhere in the beggining so people can read and then read the actual paper instead of goin to the back, looking up words all the time. the paper is for a teacher and not for a whole class. he, on the other hand, thinks my idea is great! he seems very facinated(sp?) when i tell him about games and pots i've played and won during the week. (i'm sure i could get him to play with me and my poker-gang
)
anyway, i haven't really started it yet so i don't have any material yet, and if i did, it would be in swedish...
but if i have the time i could translate bits of it and you could give me feedback
(btw, you two will be mentioned in my "thank you"-section
)
