Stars Sunday Millions Satellite Seats

I've noticed a difference in the number of seats available in the 500 FPP PokerStars satellites to the Sunday Millions and was wondering if anyone could explain this to me.

Most of the time the 'payout' seems to be one seat to the SM for every 13,500 FPP in the prize pool. But one week the seats available seemed to be capped at four. The satellite tourny lobby said something like, "4 seats guaranteed with the total number to be determined on the close of registration". I think that was last week but this week it is back to 1 seat/13,500 FPP.

I'm doing pretty well in these satellites. I won a seat in a 400+R FPP tourny and got deep enough in two more 500 FPPs to get my entry fee back out of four attempts in the last month. I like these tournys as there aren't so many entrants that they last forever.

Typically I've seen both. Limited seat ones that naturally keeps entries pretty low, or unlimited ones.
