Chip tricks

Postby atlee atlast » Fri Oct 17, 2003 12:53 pm GMT

This is a little stupid, but does anyone know of a place I can find an instructional pamplet or internet site on the different kind of poker chip tricks people do at the tables. Thanks

well, i have one trick that everyone does...
you place one hand over two stacks of chips(start with 4 chips on each stack) put four of your fingers surrounding the stacks and then use your middle finger to lift both stacks then squeeze the two stacks with your four fingers as you lift to make them fall down one from one stack and then one from the other until all of them make one stack... damn it's hard to explain, i'm sure someone gets it though who can explain it better.

i wanna learn the thing that johnny chan does in rounders. he has about five chips in his hand and he lifts 3 of them up and let them slide into his palm (also hard to explain but it looks really cool)

I see that stuff at the table all the time and I'm just thinking...These are people who've spent WAY too much time in casinos...

I know one thing, there's a hell of a lot more important stuff to pay attention to. I'm clutzy with chips and I'm good with that. I don't mind if someone thinks, "Hey, here's a greenhorn...."

I actually own over 2,500 casino-grade chips. Can't stand playing with cheap ones. I'm a "Top-hat and Cane" man, mostly--and you can't even touch used ones for under 65 cents each--but I've got better things to do that learn tricks with them. I'm much happier when they are making me money.
