Damn PartyPoker

Postby Red Rabbit » Fri Apr 25, 2008 3:43 pm GMT

Just started playing a tournament on PP when I get moved to another table. PP kindly informs me that an association has been identified between me and another player I've never heard of and can therefore not play on that table. Rather than move me to another table I apparently just have to wait til I get moved or get blinded out

Sounds fair to me, what we all want to know is how they come to this conclusion, you say the other party is unknown to you, I don’t think PP would make these assumptions without cause. That’s what you need to investigate to clear your name, casinos around the world swap information on cheats, I would be surprised if on-line gambling does not have a similar exchange. I may be just a miss match of similar information.

So you wouldn't be annoyed if the same thing happened to you?

I have no idea who this other player is. According to my tracking software I have never even sat at the same table as them before. I'll email PP about it but I'm not sure anything will come of it.

Anyway, I wasn't allowed to play for about 30 mins and my fairly average stack got blinded down pretty badly. I lasted about 15 mins before busting out.

I’d be very annoyed and would want a comprehensive answer from support. If it happens then it happens for a reason, that reason could affect you wanting to cash out. They are basically accusing you of collusion. That’s serious stuff. If you can't get an answer and you realy don't know then you need to consider your options. Its that simple.
