Why do donkeys get rewarded so often?

This just seems to happen too often online, but I guess it's really just poker!

I don't have a problem with him hitting - sure it's going to happen often. The problem I have is with him shoving after a significant raise in front of him. There's no way he figured he had any kind of reasonable odds. There's only one type of player that can do that, and he speaks in hee haw.

i think the orignal raiser opened up from the button and if the guy thought he had a read on him, could have read it as a blind steal and tried to re-steal.

This is not such a donk move.
He did mistakenly read BTN big open to weakness and thought he can get him to fold (of course, pretty big mistake since big opens late in a tournament actually means : true I don't want callers, but I'm never folding.

In tournament you do need to sometimes reshove with hands you know are probably behind just because FE+your equity in the pot usually mean +EV
I much rather have hands that can flop well and not easily dominated, but if you watch Anette15 you know often any two card will do.
