Pick your pros to go far in the 2008 WSOP
We did this last year and it was fun so pick 5 pro players who you think will do well at this year's WSOP and points will be scored based on POTY points earned.
Picks pretty much ASAP really as Event #1 starts on Friday...........

1. Daniel Negreanu (please do not flake on me this year)
2. Allen Cunningham
3. Chris Ferguson
4. John Juanda (don't let me down)
5. Phil Hellmuth
Pretty much guys who I know will play a ton of events and are either good at all the games, or are potential favorites to go deep in select events.
I almost picked Roy Winston and Michael Binger, but I don't know how well they play the other games, and there are more non-Hold'em games now than in some of the previous years.

Daniel Negreanu
(If I remember right he was in the zone last year, reading great then when out on a stupid move.)
Antonio Esfandiari
(Just like him, seems good, but picks up some bad luck)
Phil Hellmuth
(Good odds)
[cough] Brunson
(Ya see what I did there? 3 for the price of 1
)
Phil Ivey
(Not sure about this, it was either him or Gus Hansen. We'll have to see)

Score one for me: Jesus FT's Event #2.
Patrik Antonius is deep in the Mixed Hold'em event. Early second FT appearance for PA in the making?

Sweet, Daniel came through for me this year. And out of nowhere, Matusow wins a bracelet yesterday! What a series!

I wish we could get ESPN over here in the UK. From what I've read it sounds as though the series has been very good so far. Can't be bad with both Matusow and Negreanu picking bracelets.
I can't even watch the highlights on the ESPN website
