Looks nice.

Have you got a spare room to rent out for THP members when they visit Vegas?

As long as they're reputable and won't steal my shit, then sure, I have an extra bedroom with its own bath.

Thanks, but I'm getting it unfurnished so a bunch of the stuff you see in the pics wont be included. I have pics of the place empty, but I can't find the USB to camera cable so I can't upload them.

Final price was $160k. Original list was $195k but was reduced after only a little over 100 days on the market. Monthly HOA fee of only $55. Professional home inspectors looked at the place and only found minor stuff wrong (2 bathroom vents dont work, and one of the pipes from the water heater has an upward slant instead of straight down), but that stuff is getting fixed within the next week or 2.

Makes me realise how bad house prices here in the UK are even now they've started to drop down again. £80k just doesn't buy anything close to your place. Makes me glad I've opted to rent.

Very nice is what they show on Cribs :-D

Mine was about £95K 3 years ago and for that bargain it needed:
  • A new kitchen
  • A new bathroom
  • Full electrical re-wiring
  • New central heating system and boiler
  • New UPVC windows
  • Re-plastering and decorating every wall and ceiling.
  • New flooring.

I think if I ever pay off my mortgage and get a web business going I can run remotely I’d emigrate. Either to the US, Canada or Oz. You guys seem to have it good and the UK feels like it’s going down hill sometimes :(
