My Strategy...?

Postby nazmdeh » Thu Oct 23, 2008 3:10 pm GMT

Right so I have been playing poker for quite a while now, but only recently I have started studying it, practicing, and generally learning to play better.

Now one of my keys that I ALWAYS stick to, is:
I dont go in On every hand. I fold the bad hands before the flop, even if I have small blind, and wait for the good ones to come along.
If I have a weak hand on the flop and a bet is in front of me, I fold.
Obviously this isnt my only strategy and theres much more to it than I have explained, but am I on the right lines? Or being foolish?

sounds like you're a rookie and are starting with a very conservative approach. not a bad way to start.
