Calculatem Pro - ripoff?

Postby Franktown » Sun Dec 28, 2008 4:41 pm GMT

I'm wondering if anyone out there has any experience with a program called Calculatem Pro? I'm kinda new at NLH and purchased this hand analyzer/pot odds calculator for assistance. Anyway it hasn't worked correctly since I bought it and their support is terrible!! They haven't answered any of my complaint emails in over two weeks. I've asked to get my money back but I doubt that will ever happen! Any help/advice would be appreciated!

[list]
[*]Don’t bother with technical aids that tell you what to do. There are apps that will help you with analysis but they’re really for more advance players who are honing the edges on their game.
[*]Spend your money on literature. There’s a fairly solid consensus on the best books.

[*]Never buy anything without doing the research. Never install anything without doing the research. I’d more than just uninstall this I’d format my PC and reinstall the OS since it’s second scam function could be spyware.
[*]What can you do? F**k all. You brought it off the net I assume so they’re probably based in a foreign country. If you’re lucky and it’s a recent purchase you might be able to complain to your credit card company and make it their problem to chase. But I doubt it, I think the best think you can do here is just learn from the experience.
[*]Finally if any positive comment gets posted in this thread about this software from someone with less than 50 posts you can expect it to be deleted. To be honest I doubt you’re a pimper because “this software is sh*t and I think they’re scammersâ€
