I keep rethinking this hand

Postby Jonniedough » Sat May 09, 2009 5:28 pm GMT

Ive been beat up at this limit this is one of the reasons for this fold. Im about 20-30 hands in at this table and Papas been a bit aggressive.
I keep thinking I should have called, my odds are great. But like I said getting beat up makes me fold, at any rate it worked out in the long run I ended up double up my buy in. If I had called and lost I would have gave up for the night.
Im just curious about what YOU would do.

(edit) I forgot about my position. Thats another reason and its rare I do this in this position, and larok bets for value reason for the call on the flop, now that I see the hand I know I forgot about all the things I did wrong, this helps me think out loud

Only hands that beat us are a set or AK :spade: .However, even then we're still 40% to win. So assuming his range includes more hands (AJ/AA-QQ) , i ship it.

Yeah limp/call utg with QT is a big leak

Preflop is bad. But post flop, folding this is beyond terrible--I'm ridiculously happy to ship it.

this has been said before but limp/calling 4bb's with QT is bad

folding your monster draw is absolutely horrendous

i guess if you are super deep some1 might find a fold here but this is the micros! laff laff reload is worst case scenario
