I just don't think it does Poker any favors to have unknowns headlining the flagship broadcast. But then again, TV donkaments are uber boring anyway.

yeh, I was sayin the other day when i saw ivey deep. If he wins , i'd bet that the online gaming laws prohibiting online poker goes away. What a great advert for poker, the best player in the world actually winning the wsop main event! especially with the field size being like over 6,000.

Ivey's done it. 8th in chips, November 9 set. Somehow I think Phil would be happier to just get it done tomorrow.
