Where to find a detailed list of probability/odds/outs?

Postby dubfrontsidah » Wed Jul 22, 2009 2:02 pm GMT

I would appreciate information such as:

If ones pocket cards are suited, what is the chance of hitting a flush on the flop? What is the chance of the flop hitting 2 more suited cards (same suit as your pocket cards), and the turn or river hitting 1 more suited card for the flush?

If ones pocket cards are connected, what is the chance of hitting a straight on the flop? The turn? The river?

If ones pocket cards are a pair, what is the chance of hitting a set on the flop? The turn? The river?

etc.

Also calculating and factoring pot odds and outs with those probabilities.

I bought a book that I thought ouwld have helped but it didn't even go over the math! haha I need another one.

That you.

I've not checked that link yet but I've always been told that the odds of flopping a flush with suited cards is 0.7%. Mind boggling if true!

Flopping a flush is something like...
(11/50)(10/49)(9/48) ...
(990 / 117600) ...
0.0084183673469387755102040816326531
or ~ 0.84%

Mess around with the preflop calculator, I don't want to do the rest of that math (again). That's why we made that.

If you want percentages based on outs, use the odds chart
