who's out first
Hi
My buddies and I play in a poker league so we need to know who is eliminated first. So the other night one of the guys called all-in. Let's call him Player A. The guy next to him calls (Player B), then a 3rd guy calls (Player C).
Player A ends up winning the hand knocking out Plyers B & C. Now the question is: Which player was knocked out first considering B had the most chips before going all-in.
Thanks
Gareth

if you really HAVE to chose the order then you go by starting chip count...
player A has 1000
player B has 700
player C has 500
then all 3 go all in and player A wins then A is 1st, B is 2nd, C is 3rd
player A has 1000
player B has 700
player C has 500
then all 3 go all in and player A wins then A is 1st, B is 2nd, C is 3rd

This is right, regardless of who ended up with the best hand out of the players who were eliminated.
Guess what? I got a fever, and the only prescription, is more cowbell!

Re: who's out first
So what happens when all three call all in. They are outting al their chips at risk so if they loose which stack does evryone have to meet as a min etc or do you all meet the lowest stack fist and then the next highest?

They are only all putting all their chips at risk if they all have the same chip count.
Assume A has 600, B has 800, and C has 1000.
If A goes All in. B can Fold, Call the 600, or go all in himself.
If B has called, then C can then just call for 600, or go all in himself. If he goes all in, then B can call with his remaining chips, or fold.
If B has gone all in, the C can really just call or fold.
Assuming A and B have both gone all in, then there are 2 pots. The main pot has 600 from each player (1800 total). This is the only pot A can win. The 2nd pot has 200 from each B and C. The winner between B and C gets this pot - A cannot win any of these chips.
When the hand is over, the side pot is figured first. If C wins, B is out of the game and C gets the 400 chips in the side pot, otherwise B wins the side pot. The winner of the side pots' hand is then compared with A. The best of these 2 hands gets the main pot.
