Gid (ninetensuited) offering high stakes HU lessons on FTP?!

Not when you know some of the people involved. I mean they aren't really great personal friends, but they are people I have chatted with and do respect.
In general it just sucks anytime someone is low enough to do something like this to another person.

That is good he is trying to make amends. Although as I told Gid directly before he broke all contact with this board, I think it would be best if he avoided Poker as it seems to be a toxic environment for him. Perhaps he is older and wiser now, but I doubt he has worked through all his issues.

I don't think someone who is capable of doing something like that would ever work out the relevant issues

yikes, if sum1 who scammed a couple k on the net has no hope ......what about murderers, rapists and the like.... can they ever work out their relevant issues? if not then why are they allowed out of gaol?
As far as gid is concerned he has done all he can to make things right imo paid back ppl including milkypirate over 2kish and KingOfHearts $800. In my opinion this goes some way to show he is not a scumbag, rather just made a very bad mistake.

Certain things are in people's nature and impossible to change.

yeah thats true.
however by the same token, ppl can do things that are out of character too...
like gid, or loathe him for what he did, I feel its a bit much for you to pass judgement on him from 2nd 3rd or 4th hand account of events over a forum. Not speak to, or hear from him for about 2 years and decide he is incapable of learning from his mistakes or that it was simply in his nature and he is therefore incapable of dealing with it.

If you want to let him look after $10,000 of your money to see if it ends well, be my guest sir.

I'm not on his side. Nor would I leave $10k with him.

$10k , Aelred?lol good one geno.
I got alot of stick in irc for keepin in touch with gid ,and i not defending what he did, but he was definitely remorseful and sorry for what he did, and i think he even paid back amounts as soon as he starting to get some cashes. Obviously that doesn't excuse what he did AT the time, but what more can a guy do to show he was sorry?

I dunno wat you want us to say Aelred and Ciso.
I am glad he did the right thing in the end. I never trusted him in the first place and I will never forget what happened and am not really interested in anything he has to say.
So ya know, what ya gonna do?

the only thing that has been said that i take issue with is geno's snap judgment and decision that he is bad to the core and incapable of becoming bettering himself.
