Cash game two hands

Postby jeffonline » Sun Jul 05, 2009 8:33 pm GMT

Cash games live $2.50/$5.00 blinds

1. First hand of the day, no reads late position AcQd.
All players $400 or $500 deep I have $400. Several limpers I raise $30 from a late position BB calls, MP calls pot is approx $100.00.
Flop is Qc7c3c
BB raises $100
MP calls
I complete
Turn is 6h
POT $400
BB checks
MP is All-in and has me covered
I have $270 left
What should I have done???

2. I am about $350 deep and dealt AA late position, several limpers I raise $20, two callers.
Flop comes 6T6 rainbow
Check check, I bet $50, 1 folds and a young guy who sat down 3 hands ago and has played every hand has me covered pushes all-in.
So the pot was $115.00, I have $280
Whats my play???

I definitely raise flop in hand 1. Preflop size is fine and now we have a monster. With 2 players we may already be beat but we have a killer redraw and live players suck so they will call.

In hand 2 did you raise to $20 or $25? I make it a bit bigger pre. Also the flop is an easy call and if you say otherwise I'm 100% sure you're posting a bad beat post in hand analysis.

+1. Hand 1 we figure to be best against a decent number of hands and we have a nut draw backup.

Hand 2 we're too short to consider doing anything but all-in on a board that's so good for our hand in an absolute sense, and in a relative sense against a loose player.
