WSOP ME FT Missing half-hour
OK, I'm really bummed. I've been recording and making DVDs of the WSOP (personal use only) and was all prepared for the final table Tuesday night with my usual setup--TIVO programmed to capture the broadcase starting one minute early and ending one minute late and laptop plugged into a capture device set to record for 122 minutes. But then the actual broadcast went 2 1/2 hours. I'm sitting there at the 2 hour mark and they're still only down to three players and both devices quit recording. I scramble to restart the TIVO and the laptop but I lost a minute-plus from the TIVO and nearly 2 minutes from the laptop.
And now the replays seem to have fit the whole broadcast into the traditional 2-hour format going from 9 players to winner in 2 hours.
Does anyone know where the edits took place? I only lost part of one hand so I'm hoping that it will be in the cut-down version. When I get enough time to do the edits I'll be able to answer my own question but all I really care about is whether the hand in progress at the 2-hour mark is included in the cut-down version. It probably should be as it was a pretty big hand.
