Rush Poker

Postby jeffonline » Tue Feb 23, 2010 7:46 pm GMT

Has anyone been playing Rush Poker at Full Tilt.
What do you think?
I have now played many hours in the micro stakes.
Far from an expert, but have found:
1. I am unable to get any information on others.
2. I only get respect when I have increased my buy in.
3. I tend to only respect those with biger stack.
4. I think I use the quick fold button to often.
5. Position is more my friend then ever.
6. Blind steeling has become compulsory.
7. I see a lot of over betting, with and without hands.
8. Its difficult to play anything but premium cards, I just don’t get enough value from suited connectors.

Do you have any tactics?

I think the best tactics is to avoid this and multitable instead. Is there any advantage vs multitabling? I don't see any. If we prefer to play vs unknown players, we can just rotate tables more often.

I haven't played this yet, but have heard from a serious player that Rush Poker has made him excited about online poker again. Apparently you aren't the only one who uses the "quick fold" option too often. Min bets and min raises are profitable i hear.

There is no HH in Rush poker, IMO its quite negative for me to know that there's no HH as i want to formulate reads, observing other players on how they play.

I guess at first you will notice that you nee more skills to adapt to a quick pace, but you still have time to get a few reads on your opponents.
