Dealing at Home Games - Anyone Else Hate It?
Is it just me or does anyone else hate dealing at home games?
How does everyone else do it? Do you have one person who deals all the time or does everyone rotate dealing and there is always the dood like me who hates dealing and sucks at it?

That's an easy fix. Find someone to deal all the time, and tip them $0.50 a hand. If your friends are like mine, someone will always want to deal.

At our home games we have a rule that if you are first to be knocked out (and therefore the one who has to hang around the longest until the next game) you can deal and look at the mucked cards every hand.
Basically, it keeps the crappy players interested and stops them drinking my booze or trying to finger my wife.

I dislike it but it's a necessary evil and not that much of a ball ache. When we get down to three-handed or HU someone tends to offer to deal or often two people will kindly double deal to keep things moving along.

And that’s why I hate getting knocked out first.
