Omaha
Played a little limit Ohama yesterday. Besides thinking that I had a boat w/ a board of Q6633 when I had a 6 in hand, things went well.
Lots of callers on the preflop, post flop and on the turn. I played just about every hand and folded when I didnt have 2 pair or a pot odds drawing hand.
I know that I shouldnt play 90% of hands, but w/ 4 cards, everything looks good.
Playing $.5/$1 I made $65 in the 1st hour and broke even for 2 hours in the next session. I was getting MONSTER hands when I 1st started. I started to believe that I actually knew what I was doing.
Give it a shot if you havent before. I just wouldnt recommend playing Omaha on one table and NL SNG on the other....talk about head spins.

I love Omaha, just haven't had the time to really put towards learning to play it well. LIke you said, with 4 cards, just about everything looks good. Omaha/8 or better? Look out, now EVERY four cards looks like a winner!
The name of the game, as far as I can figure, is double suited, double connectors.

lmao never a truer word spoken.
I enjoy an Omaha Hi/Lo single table from time to time, if for no other reason than watching people wonder how the hell i just got a split of the pot with A2467.
i can't laugh cos i was wondering same thing 1st time i (mistakenly) sat in on a Omaha H/L game

Hey Dave, forgot to mention this, but I just reread your post. I can sympathize on the "thinking that I had a boat w/ a board of Q6633 when I had a 6 in hand"! At least you only did it once! The first time I played it must have happened to me three or four times.

Yeah, but getting dealt AAAx with an A on the flop can be a lot of fun when someone else is trying to represent top pair.
