WHY WHY WHY????????????
ARRRRRRRRGH!!!!!! I am sooooooo tired of losing the same ways, and NEVER winning in those ways. Example. If I go into a pot preflop and raise with pocket 10's, board ALWAYS pairs other dudes K or A. If I am sitting on Big Slick Vs. underpair, no big cards in the board. very frustrating. I know that I am on a rant here, but does anyone else experience this online as much as me? I realize that pocket 10's are a slight favorite vs overcards, but nearly 90% loss ratio? very curious. I have been keeping track lately. The last 9 hands that I have had middle pocket pairs, I have lost 8 to one overcard on the board. Just an observation.

Sure-everyone has experienced that. Take a break, slam a beer, take a dump, go back and wait for things to change. One thing to remember, every bad beat you take is a nice draw for someone else. People dont rant when the cards are going there way, they just chuckle and stack their chips. Keep on tracking-things have a way of working their way out.

in a ring game with a middle pocket pair, i will raise preflop to weed out the draws. I understand that I stand to lose roughly 1/2 of these hands, but not 90%

In a loose low limit ring game I would be more inclined to play a pair of 10s like a low pair. Limping in, keeping everyone in the pot, and hoping I make my set.
If you raise coming in, and an overcard to your 10s flop, and there is ANY action at all afterwards I would muck my 10s.
