question about pokerstars

Postby PokerGoblin » Sun Oct 19, 2003 12:09 pm GMT

on PS there are some $1, 2$ and $3 tournaments that say they are satallite tournaments to a weekly finale... but once they are running they list a cash prize. If you win do you have the option to take the cash or do you have to enter the weekly freeroll you qualify for?

Hey:

If the satellite lists a "target" tourney you get a buy in for that tourney if you win. Any odd amount (less than a full buy in) will be awarded to lower finish.

Also, for most of these, if you win a buy in to a tourney you can unregister and get tourney dollars. They can be used to play in any tournament including sit and go's.

For example, if you win a buy in to a $200 + 15, you can unregister and will then have $215 tournament dollars in your account. In fact, if you win more than one buy in to the same tourney in different satellites the second will automatically be credited to your account.

thanks but thats not what I meant. If you look at the NL or PL tourneys on PS they say its a satellite to the weekly round 2... just like the freerolls lead to. Is there also a cash prize? That's what I'm asking.

It's PokerGoblin, but I've more or less lost faith in online gambling so I don't do much of it anymore. I appreciate the invite though.
