Are u a Sprinter or a Marathon runner in Turnys
okay latly iv somewhat found somthing out
i seem to be a sprinter in Turnys
I play alot of the larger Pokerstar freeroles
manly the NL Holdem ones but also sometimes the Omeha,STud and Limit Holdem. the ones with 2500 to 5000 people playing
I Normoly get up fast in Chips in theese expecaly the NL Holdem one
and cruise the first hour and a half two hour then i just run out of gas and get knocked out.
i domanate the Free Sit and Goes at TruePoker when i play them.
Is there any sugestings for me to last longer in the Muti Table Turnys.

Generally the strategy for long tournies I believe is to be less aggressive, and more "tight" in the beginning of the tourny so the bad players get weeded out and you can slowly build your stack up. Doing this certainly increases your chance to get into the money of course...but you will eventually need to switch gears. When the blinds/antes raise up and your stack begins to shrink you might want to switch and begin to steal the blinds and what not. And go all-in on hands earlier you would have just raised and so on. You must increase your aggression level and play more cards. This is a simple overview of what I think...

well it happioned once more
just know at the 3am NL turny on Poker stars
i had 5500 in chips just got moved to this new table.
folded hand befor J5 off and J5 its on the flop with everything else rainbow and junk.
would of won with the two pair.
so i get Pocket rockets
bet a decent sum not all in or anything but 400dollers over the Bigblind two callers
a 97j hits on the flop then da ten on the turn.
guy bets all in for 2200 so i call and so does the chipleader at this table he had like 18k so i fiqured he was just calling becuse he had chips.
next card is a five so i bet he moves me all in and he had A8 to beat me other guy had KQ
so i lost 5500 chips gone in one minnute

Well I suppose that is a bad beat but you have to give your opponent's some respect. As much as you may hate to lay it down two guys called from the blind right? This could mean they have really weak hands, an 8 is possible so you may have wanted to move in there on the flop. And with a 4-card straight out there I can't say I love your call. Tough beat, but you could have prevented yourself from losing THAT many chips.
