Other forms of poker
I understand this is texasholdem-poker.com but if there is enough interest maybe a forum section on other poker forms would be nice
I just started player omaha and 7stud Hi/Lo and find the games incredible. If you haven't played these games and only play hold'em I know your thinking these games sound too complex or that you only need hold'em but believe me these games really are very simple and VERY profitible. In a game like omaha hi/lo the expert player will almost always win as opposed to hold'em where really anyone has a shot. I am just so sick and tired of getting aces cracked to 7,2 and telling myself its all good in the long run that I just need to take a break from hold'em! Anyone experienced at any of these games and want to help at the novices?

I have dabbled in both Omaha and 7-card stud in my time and they both seem like good games but I don't feel I can commit the time to learning them well enough to try and play properly.
I'm a total retard when it comes to Hi/Lo cos I've never read the rules so I'm sitting there with what I think is a gr8 high OR low hand and it invariably loses. I should really read up on that u know

It's really hard to learn about Hi/Lo games Omaha and 7-Card stud b/c there aren't many tournies televised on them and there are very few books. I do not totally know what a good hand is and what junk is. They DO interest me however.
