UB Freeroll, 5th April

I just signed up as 396th player in the latest UB freeroll which starts Saturday 5th April at 5am EST. Great news for UK players, although I guess this post is too late if you haven't entered cos I imagine all the places will now be gone as the limit was 400

Well, I finished 77th which was not bad considering it was my first online tournament. It's different to real life in so many ways!

Final hand was kinda funny - I was table short-stack with 940, blinds 100-200.

Dealt Ah,Jd. Pre-flop raised (I had decided to make a move....) 400 to see if I could pinch the blinds. Got called twice, flop showed Q,Q,3o. All-in of course but the guy to my right followed. He showed Q,10o. Oops!

Well, turn was a Ks making a straight draw which dropped in with 10c but of course that gave him the Full House too! Man that happens a lot to me - my 'saviour' card also bones me.
