Postby Invader » Wed Jan 21, 2004 4:32 pm GMT

1) We was wandering when It comes time for the flop why do you bury the first card and on 4 street you agian bury a card and do the same for the river::
a) why do we bury a card?
b) we had issues about this I thought it is the way the game goes others didn't I want to know the truth..

2) We have a question about a winning hand ok here is what we had
a) hand #1 his blind was 8d and 8C
b) my hand was a Kd and 7c
Community Was Qh Qs 2d 2c 2s

3) Clearly the community has a full house Now I thought the pot was split but Guy #1 has a higher full house do we split the pot or does he win I really dont know But if I had to guess He would win but we wanted to do what was right agian please help....

Saper nailed it. You burn a card so marked decks can't be used. And for your second question, it's a split pot because both of you have a full house 2's over Q's. The one players 8's aren't used since the Q's are higher. Make sense?

ok guys I totally asked the wrong question sorry sorry sorry

1) guy 1 has 8c and 8d
2)guy 2 had kd and 7h

community had 3d 3h 3c 5h 5d

Ok here is my question community had a complete hand full house 3 over 5 but guy 1 had 3 over 8 which is the higher 5 cards we thought we read somewhere if the community had a complete hand it was a split,,

once agian I am sorry for the confusion I knew what I wanted to ask but got lost myself hehe

OK now player 1 wins with a full house 3's over 8's while player 2 has a full house 3's over 5's.
