How is PokerStars?
The Question is how is the quality of play at Pokerstars? I play almost exclusively at UB, and was wanting to expand my horizons. I prefer larger NL tourneys, as they seem to fit my playing style much better than a ring game. Thanks for the input.

well
I can comment on the Fixed Limit only :
0.25/0.50 and below : u will have to deal with people going till the river with totally crap hands...so expect some really bad beats.
0.50/1 : the game gets tighter, people play less crap hands but they will follow you till the river mostly whenever they hit a 2nd pair (or 3rd pair) on the flop...same for the draws. Yesterday I got rivered so many times that I can't count them, made me sick.
1/2 : I only played a few of this but the gap between 0.50/1 and 1/2 is huge ! Way more tighter.
I started playing online (and just holdem in general) in november on pokerstars with $100, went up to $500 but now I'm down to $275 again because of the losing streaks. I just can't seem to be a constant winner because of these people going till the river all the time and hitting the card they need there. And my bankroll doesnt really allow me to play 1/2 yet. Yesterday PokerStars was RiverStars in my case...hope my luck will come back.
Hope that helped you, you might want here some more comments about the NL probably

pokerstars
I like Pokerstars for sit&gos and NL tourneys. I enjoy the layout. I like the way they do the "all in" hands... I haven't played at UB so I can't compare, but Pokerstars is definately the best for NL of the few I've tried.

i like pokerstars alot, pretty much the only place I play besides partypoker once in a while. I started with a pretty big bankroll for me (1k) about 4 or 5 months ago and stayed around even, up or down 200 on average but the past week or so i had some really bad beats and am down alot. the sit-n-gos are good, lots of different options - 1table/2/heads up at everything from 5.50 to 300, tourneys are going on all the time.
last night was in a $20 tourney, 151 entries, top 18 paid, i finished 19th grrrr.

ive never played a $10 but the $20 last night had 150, an $11 + rebuys is running right now with 550 or so entrants. seems alot higher compared to the $20 multi, but I'd guess somewhere around 2-400 on average. maybe someone else knows

The last $10 I played in had @ 200 people. I mainly play Sit&Go and NL tourneys. Played a few of the $3 tourneys, but with 1500 people and the insane amount of time (finished 118 after 3+ hours) I mainly play $10. Plus in the $10 game people actually play smart, not calling crap all game long like in the $3.
