Highest Low Pair off the flop

Just wondering what people do in this situation, say you limp in with a weak hand or are on the BB with : 9-7

now up comes 2 5 7 - you now have the highest "low" pair on the flop - anyone consider this a strong play - what are the chances of pushing someone off the pot sitting with a KA or similar high hand? How aggressive would you play this with 2 to come?

I've had mixed success, but overall I've been nicely up playing it fairly hard - dont know if it bucks the trend though or if it's a good move to make...but I've hit some pretty good pots doing it. The dangers are the straight chasers and high card hopefuls....

in a no limit game i would bet about the size of the pot.. its likely people have over cards, but you want them to fold. you also have to lookout for somebody who is holding A7 or K7.

With no big preflop bets from anyone, I would bet at it...
But beware the bluff right back at you. If someone calls
they are drawing (80% chance) or trapping -but not likely.
So, lookout for anycard that would complete any drawing
hand.. I wouldn't fear a boat cause if someone flopped
2 pairs, you'd more than likely know after you bet on flop.

It's depend on pot size, future contribution to the pot, number of players in the pot,etc. You may play with texas hold'em calculators to find boundaries among raise, call, and fold.
